| So Eric and I finally set a wedding date last night! I am so excited. It's going to be August 11, 2007. WOO-HOO!!! So who wants to come?

| Well, this weekend was absolutely WONDERFUL! And as promised, I'm making this post to update everyone about it.
For those of you who don't know, I'm engaged now!!! YAY! I'm so excited! Seriously, I can't stop smiling.
Ok, well I guess I'll start at the beginning instead of just automatically skipping to the best part....
So Friday Eric and I left for Myrtle Beach. We didn't get there until 5:30. We checked in to our hotel. It was super nice! Then we went to Broadway at the Beach and ate dinner at Uno's Chicago Grill. It was really good and the pizza was great!
Saturday we woke up and got ready then went to the Ripley's Aquarium. We stayed there for a loooong time. Eric took pics and we watched two dive shows there. I got to pet the sting rays and then one of the divers came up to feed the sting rays and so they came up really close for everyone to pet them. Then this one sting ray came up to me and started splashing me in the face. I finally had to get up cause he wouldn't stop splashing me. It was really cute! We came back to the hotel and we sat out on the balcony and ate lunch and watched the people walking on the beach. We finally decided to go out there since we had yet even touched the sand lol. We got out there and set our beach towels and stuff down. I got all the way out in the water and Eric was just about to get in when all of a sudden thunder boomed SO loud. It scared me so much that I jumped out of the water faster than I got in lol. So we headed back for the hotel. The storm passed by about an hour later and so we went back out to the beach, but by then the water had cooled down so we just decided to take a walk. We searched for seashells and I swear we must have walked like two miles....I got too tired and so we had to walk back. We went to the pool and stuff at the hotel and that was about it.
Then came Sunday, the BEST day of the week! Eric woke me up at 5:30 and we went walking on the beach to see the sunrise. It was beautiful! I was walking by the shore collecting shells and Eric was up a little further looking for shells (or so I thought) and about 15 minutes later he called me over to where he was. So I walked over there and he was like "Look at this shell I found" and I go "Uh-huh, that's cool." Then he said "No pick it up and look at it." So I picked it up and the ring was under it and he asked me to marry him. It was so sweet! I really wanted to cry. He is the most wonderful thing to ever happen to me and this weekend is something I'll never forget.
We went to some more shops on Sunday before we left and Eric came up with the idea that we should start a scrapbook. I'm so excited! I can't wait.
And we officially decided to go up to Illinois July 2nd through the 8th. He wants to introduce me to all of his friends. I can't wait for that either! It's gonna be great!

| Ok, so I typed out the whole thing I wanted to say but then my sister signed onto my screen name from another computer and it cut me off, deleting EVERYTHING I typed out. I dont feel like typing it ALL out again, so i'll just give you the abridged version of everything lol.
Eric and I are going to Myrtle Beach in 2 days...WOO-HOO! We're staying until Sunday. I'm so excited! I can hardly wait!!!
Eric got a 1972 Chevy Blazer. It's a convertable. It's pretty sweet. I think we're taking it to the beach. I've always wanted to drive down Ocean Boulevard in a convertable!!!
I talked to Steph and Chloe last night online. It was so good to hear from them. I think they're gonna call me tonight. I'm looking forward to it. Speaking of them, I think Eric and I are going up to Illinois in July to visit friends and so I get to see Steph and Chlo then. I haven't seen them since 2003 i'm pretty excited!
I got a summer job working at the insurance company yet again...I'm glad though 'cause I really needed the money. Pray for one of the girls that used to work here. Her name is Mindy and she was in a car accident last week and is in pretty bad condition. So please, put her on any prayer lists that you know of.
Tomorrow is my mom's birthday. We're thinking of having a party for her tonight. Make her dinner and a cake and stuff. She really wants the newest Third Day cd so I guess I'll get that for her.
Ok, well I guess that's all for now. I'll update on Monday with pics and stories from the beach so make sure to check back then!

| You know those days when you feel like all you want to do is cry? Yeah, yesterday (and  today so far) was one of those days. I'd rather not mention names, but I hate it so much when people judge you before they even take the chance to get to know you. It really bothers me.  I mean, honestly, if you even took the time to learn more about me and find out who I really am, you might actually get to know the real me instead of some mixed up image of who you think I am that you percieve of me in your head. I know I shouldn't let it bother me, but I'd be lying to myself if I said it didn't, even just a little bit. 
Day before yesterday was one of the best days that I've had in a long time  , then yesterday happened. It's funny how things can change so quickly...
Oh well, I guess sometimes you just have to take the good with the bad. And still, some things (or someone) are worth going through all this for. I'm a tough girl. I can take it I suppose.
I guess that's all I really have to say.
A Simple Smile, a scream inside
There's so much no one knows, so much that no one sees, about the way I feel inside, my thoughts and all my needs. Maybe it's that they don't look, or the fact that I don't show, either way, there are things inside that no one seems to know. I want to show the world I want everyone to see. All the thoughts and ideas that flow inside of me. Maybe you haven't noticed, or maybe you don't dare. To find out who I am, to show me that you care. I'm screaming on the inside, a smile is what you see. But I am not content with the person I seem to be. There's a different person on the inside, that I can't seem to show, but maybe if you took the time, that person you could know. | | |
| Does anybody even read Xanga anymore? No one ever comments It kinda makes me sad.
Anyway, in other news, I had a great weekend. Friday night was a lot of fun.  Eric took me out to Carrabba's for dinner. It was sooo good. Seriously, I couldn't stop eating, which could definitely be a bad thing....But I'm gonna have to say that it was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. It was quite funny though, Eric went to the bathroom and when he came back he was like "So, I learned how to speak Italian while I was in the bathroom." I was like "WHAT?!?!?" And he told me that there were these tapes playing about how to learn Italian. I had to go hear it for myself. Yeah, they definitely taught you how to ask for a hotel room and all kinds of other stuff in Italian. It was so funny. After that, we went to the movies to see Ice Age 2. It was really cute! I like it a lot. If you haven't seen it yet, you need to.
Saturday I went to Eric's and worked on my video project for video production class. We still didn't finish it completely. Then Amber kept calling and wanted us to go back to my house so we could watch a movie with her and one of her friends. We ended up watching The Aviator. That is such a long movie...I almost fell asleep towards the end.
Sunday I watched Big Fish with my mom and Amber. I cried like I do everytime I watch that movie. Then I went to Eric's...we finished up my movie. YAY! It looks REALLY good too. And then I had to go to work.
I get to see Eric today so i'm really glad.  Except for time is going by really slowly so it seems like it's going to take FOREVER! This morning went by sooo fast but now, I don't know what happened....
